HTC One and Samsung Galaxy S4 Google Play Edition available now

the Google Play editions of the HTC One and Samsung Galaxy S4 are now available on Google Play. The good news is that the HTC One “Google Edition” still retains it’s thumpin Beats EQ baked into the core OS,along with full stereo front facing speaker functionality. Unfortunately, some of the best Sense 5 features  along with those you’ve grown to love in TouchWiz — wont be making the transition. This is afterall, vanilla Android experience. Still, the prospect of receiving prompt updates (without carrier meddling) is enough for some to make these sacrifices, and if that sounds like you, jump onto Google Play where you can purchase the new Google Play Edition HTC One for $600, or the Samsung Galaxy S4 Google Play for $650. Both devices begin shipping on July 9th.
You can buy the devices here

Htc One now available in gold and platinum

Htc one gold edition
When the HTC announced the One, many people were impressed by the craftsmanship that went into making the smartphone and its cool aluminum look. So imagine how much more impressive the phone would look like if it was literally covered in gold.
That's exactly the thought that crossed the minds of the jewelry experts from Goldgenie, who have done a premium edition of the popular smartphone. The HTC One is now available with 24-carat gold plating, and, as expected, isn't what you'd call affordable. Not that the rest of the recent Goldgenie makeovers are.
Htc one platinum edition
The 24-carat gold edition of the 32GB HTC One costs £1895. If you want it to be finished in Rose gold the price goes up a hundred quid to £1995 and the Platinum edition goes for £2095. Goldgenie provides a cool, customized gift box.

Micromax Canvas 4
The wait is finally over, MMXNewscaster has released this latest image of Micromax Canvas 4. The source should be trusted by looking at its past record. Going by the latest image and past leaks, it is clear that the Canvas 4 will come in two colors including Black and White and the upcoming handset will boast more taller and thinner bezel look.

Speaking of the design ,it doesnt look that different from its predecessor ,however its believed to pack powerful features

Buy galaxy S4, S4 Active, htc One, And Many Others at 50% through AT&T [US]

If you're in the market for a new phone on AT&T, the time to buy is now. The company is running a promotion that knocks 50 percent off of all smartphones – including top-tier handsets like the Galaxy S4/Active or HTC One . To make this deal even more enticing, all activation fees are also getting waived through the end of the month. That's a hell of a deal.

Here's how it works: you select the device you want, add it to the cart, and go through the normal motions of selecting your plan (or upgrading your line if you're already an AT&T customer). The discount is applied to the phone in the cart just before you check out. And that's pretty much it – you just scored your new phone at half price.
But here's where things get interesting. This deal is good for both one- and two-year agreements, so you can essentially pay just a bit more than the normal two-year contract price and only be locked in for one year. Or, you can sign up for two years, and get your phone dirt cheap. Either way you go, this is a killer deal. It's over on June 30th, so the time for choosing is now.

Samsung Galaxy S5 to feature metalic unibody design, finally!!

According to the rumours floating around the web , Samsung has finally starting to feel the heat from rival devices such as the HTC One, the Sony Xperia Z and the iPhone 5, all of which use aluminium and/or glass and are widely seen as more premium or ‘classy’ than the Galaxy range.

Galaxy s5 mock-up

Of course, a unibody design has its drawbacks, namely the inability to remove the battery, which is bound to affect travellers and heavy users.
Also, all of this could be just a proposition, as Samsung itself said not very long ago that using plastic is what allows it to produce its handsets in the speed and volume required to meet demand.
The move to aluminium from plastic is though to be part of Samsung’s “Design 3.0” initiative to make its hero devices more competitive in physical attractiveness as much as software innovations.
Whatever the case, it will be a while before we will find out what Samsung’s planning, as we don’t expect the Galaxy S5 to be announced for until at least next Spring.
Do you think Samsung should make its devices out of glass or metal? Tell us why in the comments section below
