Run android apps on your PC

Candy Crush on BlueStacks app player
There are multiple ways to emulate Android on a PC and you don't need to be a geek to do so.
We are Going to demonstrate one of the simplest ways to run Android apps and games on a windows based PC or a Mac using the BlueStacks app player.

The app player provided by BlueStacks is basically a virtual machine running on Android Jellybean with several optimizations, which allows you to run apps smoothly(to some extent!) and in a full screen mode.

STEP 1
download the BlueStacks installer for Windows(XP,VISTA,Win 7/8) or MAC OS X from the
official website

STEP 2
Update your Graphic card drivers -
This step is very important as the player won't run unless you have the latest drivers.

STEP 3
Install the App player. BlueStacks can be installed on any location on your hard drive, however in Windows based systems all the application data will be stored on the C drive so you need to have sufficient empty space in the C drive.5 GB space should be enough for casual use.

STEP 4
Open BlueStacks, boot up of the app player might take some time.Log in to your google account just as you do with a new phone or Tablet.
you are now ready to run mobile apps on your PC or Mac.

APP INSTALLATION

ONLINE

  • You can use Google PLAY store,AMAZON app store or any other market for app installations.
  • PLAY store is not visible on the home screen, use the search button to search for any app in the play store.
  • Apps installed from PLAY store are encrypted and are not visible from Windows explorer.
OFFLINE
  • After finishing the installation all the APK files on your system will show the BlueStacks icon, just click on the APK file to install it on the app player.
  • Apps installed from Non Market sources are stored in the following directory-C:\ProgramData\BlueStacks\UserData\SharedFolder
APP SYNC
Click on the App sync icon and enter the password of your google account. All your previous apps will be downloaded into BlueStacks.

That's it,Enjoy your Android apps and games!!!

Gameloft delays Dungeon Hunter 4 release, teases us with new trailer

Last month gameloft announced the release of the fourth installment of its popular game Dungeon Hunter and released a trailer to show off the awesome graphics of the game. While everyone is eager to see if the latest iteration will be an improvement, it seems that those who are waiting will have to wait just a little bit longer...

Gameloft has just announced via Dungeon Hunter’s Facebook  page that the release of the game for Android will be delayed. The company also posted a new exclusive trailer for the game (see above).
The iOS version of Dungeon Hunter 4 is already available as a free download for iPad and iPhone. Interestingly, We found that the game follows "Freemium" model, and is filled with in-app offers for better gear and even healing potions, and while they can be avoided, the lack of free healing potions apparently has a negative effect on the gameplay experience:

" Healing is the absolute worst. The player is given three healing potions a  day.  Monsters do not drop them. There are no Diablo-like health globes to collect.  There are skills that will facilitate healing on a smaller scale and health slowly  regenerates over time, but for the most part your healing options, once those three potions are gone, are buy (20 gems apiece, with 200 gems running $1.99) or die. Or just stop playing and never have to worry about it.  "

So are U excited about Dungeon Hunter 4 ?
